How to Prepare for a Podcast Studio Session
Before Your Podcast Studio Session
You booked your session. Now what?
Here is how to show up ready and make the most of your time at the studio.
Plan your content. Know your topic, your talking points, and how long you want to go. For a 60-minute session, plan 40 to 50 minutes of recording time. For a 90-minute session, plan 60 to 75 minutes. The rest is for setup and transitions.

Choose your outfit. Solid colors work best on camera. Avoid tiny patterns. Bring a backup option just in case. There is a clothing rack and steamer at the studio if you need it.
Arrive a few minutes early. There is a prep area with a mirror so you can check your look before stepping onto the set. Hair dryer available too.
Charge your phone. You will want it for behind-the-scenes photos and story content.

During Your Podcast Recording
When you walk in, everything is already set up and ready.
